2019 CSA Sign Up!

Welcome to our CSA! CSA, short for Community Supported Agriculture, is a system that connects farmers and consumers more closely by allowing consumers to subscribe to the harvest of a particular farm. CSA strengthens the sustainability of the community and gives the consumer the opportunity to put fresh, local ingredients on their table.

2019 will be the first year Hayfield Farm provides a CSA to the local community. Subscribers have until February 28 to sign up, with payment due March 1, 2019. Signing up in advance allows us to prepare ourselves for planting produce and allotting meat. Pickups are weekly and the pick up location will be Hayfield Farm on Sundays between 10am-5pm. As the CSA continues to grow, we will be able to offer multiple pickup locations for your convenience.

The “BULL” – Our full share option, which costs $33 per week for $40+ worth of farm-fresh products. The “BULL” will contain 2 lbs of ground meat (pork or beef), 1 dozen eggs, seasonal produce, herbs, and breads or canned goods – enough for a family of four.

The “BULL” runs April-November (31 weeks). Total cost is $1,023. For just $4.42 per day, you can feed your family fresh, locally-grown produce, meats and more.

The “COW” – Our half share option, which costs $16 per week for $20+ worth of farm-fresh products. The “COW” will contain 1 lb of ground meat (pork or beef), 1/2 dozen eggs, seasonal produce, herbs, canned goods or breads – enough for a couple.

The “COW” runs April-November (31 weeks). Total cost is $496. For just $2.28 per day, you can put fresh, locally-grown produce, meats and more on your dinner table.

In addition to “The BULL” and “The COW”, we offer optional add-on’s:

The “BULL CALF” Add-On – adds an additional $50 worth of additional meat every week based on what is freshly available – steaks, pork sausage, pork chops, etc.

The “HEIFER CALF” Add-On – adds an additional $25 worth of additional meat every week based on what is freshly available – steaks, pork sausage, pork chops, etc.

Payments are due in full March 1, 2019 and are non-refundable. You’ll receive an invoice via email before February 15th. We accept PayPal, Venmo, or check.

All CSA shares that are not picked up from their designated time and location will be donated to local food banks or churches. Any produce left in the boxes after the week will be composted or fed to our animals.
