Hayfield Farm has trusted locally owned and operated Fauquier’s Finest Meat Processing for over 5 years. Fauquier’s Finest is located just down the road from us in Bealeton, Virginia. They are the only federally-inspected USDA full service slaughter and processing facility in the area.
Getting our livestock processed at this facility means our customers receive a cut sheet where you choose the specifications of your meat. This customization allows you to choose among many other options such as, meat thickness, sausage seasoning, as well as bacon and hams that are cured or smoked and come with nitrates or no nitrates.
Fauquier’s Finest individually flash freezes, vacuum seals, and labels each cut of meat for easy identification and storage. In addition, our beef is dry aged for 14 days.
